The international standard ISO 29001 adds specific technical requirements to the ISO 9001 quality management systems for the petrochemical and gas industry sectors. The standard focuses on the entire oil and gas supply chain, which includes material and equipment according to usage (flow or counter flow), providers of services for the oil and gas industry, customers, and material and services to achieve sector standards. Certified organizations can promote themselves as certificate holders in their promotional materials and can include the URS certification logo.
